Wow Marina, that all sounds very nice. Cookie, I bought 170 g packet of Pesto Almonds for $12. Ridiculous price but I knew if I had a packet I could probably flavour match them. I picked most of the Basil from the garden, added some home grown garlic paste , olive oil and salt. I Zapped the lot in the TMX to make a chunky paste and then mixed this with the blanched almonds. I spread the almonds on an oven tray and baked at 350 for about 30 minutes , turning the about 3 times. Left in turned off oven over night . Turned out perfect. DD turned up unexpectedly for dinner last night . Made a salad and added some of the Almonds. The almonds cost $17 a kilo. ,! I did the same when I wanted to make flavoured nut butter. The TMX is amazing in efficiant for nut butter.
