I think you would too Thermomixer.

Today I have cooked the Chinese style stir fry vegies from the EDC, Thermomixer's Soy sauce chicken in the varoma and Chookies Kahlua Date Brulee.

How was the chicken?  I went looking at the recipe and it sounds good.

I have posted a review Cathy - delicious, try it  ;)  I started it about 3.15 and we ate it at 6pm.

Thermomixer,  I would go with Guy's recommendation.

Cookie1, plum jam would have to be a favorite.   So easy in the TMX.

The plum jam was beautiful. In my usual style I mucked around with the EDC recipe and it is lovely jam. Must do a review.

Made some Plum Paste,   based on Thermomixer's recipe for Quince Paste.   Think it is good, but will taste test when cool and post recipe if good.   Vacuume sealed the Quince Paste,  made 16 packets.  Made a loaf of EDC bread to which I added Walnut oil, and L.S.A.

Hiya,

I made these the other day when this site was down

http://thecroneatwitsend.blogspot.com/2010/04/for-fellow-thermomix-users.html

My grandmother's recipe was for lbs and oz's so I did a combination of recipes;  hers, Tessa Kiro's and EDC.

They look very interesting indeed.  Good work - are they of Portuguese or Spanish origin?  They sound like just the thing to have with a nice cold beer.

Portuguese  ;D

Perfect with a cold beer.

Oh meant to add that you can use diced chicken instead of prawns if you want too.  Me, I love the garlicky prawns in the creamy sauce in the super crispy crumbed pastry.

MIght make some more tonight  :)

Tonight I made quirky Jo's spelt tortillas (without the spelt - used white and wholemeal) as well as her mexcian quinoa.  both were an absolute triumph.  Thank you so much for these recipes Jo and for your great blog!!

Sorry to hear that Jo, I love reading your postings and recipes.  Hope you find that energy you need really soon.  :-*

Today I have picked a couple of bunches of my prolific spinach and I'm making a couple of soups so will post the recipes later if I think they are worth it.

They look lovely TheCrone. I see on your blog that you are a Taurus so you will be having a birthday soon.

I made the Cheese and Basil rolls from the UK site last night to go with our lasagne. They are really nice and so easy to make. This morning I've done some craisin and white chocolate biscuits and 5 seed bread. I bought some bread improver yesterday and can't believe the difference in my 5 seed bread.
