Must make some biscuits today.
Have been reading about Kefir. Might use my Kefir ice cream recipe in AA moulds

I haven't used my thermometer for bread Chookie. This is the first time for a very long time that I have had a raw middle. I will have to use it in future.

Apparently it is difficult to buy a thermometer with 200 F. The girls who I recently taught SD to , bought theirs on line for $3. Cookie, when I test the bread, if it is not cooked, the thermometer can leave a small hole in the middle of the bread. I hate this but it is better than an uncooked loaf.

True re the. Read hole Chookie. My thermometer I use for cake has F and C so I will be fine.

I'm doing a fruit loaf at the moment and have a Classic rising.

Yesterday I made AA’s vanilla ice cream on a stick . Didn’t get around to do the chocolate dipping. Ral inked them.
I made the mixture in the Ninja Slim. Perfect amount.

Used the BBQ for the first time yesterday. Cooked Chicken wrapped in prosciutto, in a dish and baked tomatoes. Nice to keep the heat and smell outside.

Cooking Alaskan hot cakes today.

I slept badly last night so got up early and made 2 casseroles.  Braised Steak & Onions, Devilled Sausages.  They will go in the freezer.  Will make some bread later today.

I made a Yoghurt Cake from this site, I made it orange flavoured. It's very moist. I used soft brown sugar which gave it a burnt orange flavour. I might try white sugar next time to taste the difference.

I made bread sticks yesterday using Chookies No Fuss Bread recipe.  Have more rising this morning.  These will go in the freezer so that DS will have them when we are away.

I do like the look of that cake Denise, so easy plus light and fluffy.  That’s got to be a winner and I will check that site out a little more when I’m browsing.
