I’ve found that the spiralised  zucchini last well for a few days if well sealed. They are growing like mad at the moment.
Made chicken stock and the scones and bread sticks.  Was able to freeze without sampling. Wow, what will power.

Chookie, when you were over during the holidays you asked for the name of my spiraliser and I forgot all about it until now!  Sorry about that, it may be too late now, but it is the "Easy Store" spiraliser, I think from The Good Guys. It works well, but it doesn't stay anchored to the bench very well when in use and that can be very annoying.  You also wanted the name of the vegan cheese I used ... I will try to get this for you this week - before I forget again!

Thanks Marina.  I have made the effort to use the Spiralizer that I bought.  It is a bit fiddly but does a good job. It is funny how the Zuchinni looks just like spaghetti but there is no fooling the taste buds.
Think I might make some savoury muffins today for the freezer.

I made a SD Bartard from the WW Breads book. It is an overnight loaf. DH likes it, but I prefer Yoke's as it is heavier. This one is very nice, just lighter in texture.

Cookie, I love the way you keep trying different bread recipes.
Yesterday I made a Zuchinni Almond flour loaf.
I was a bit tired of having either omelettes or yoghurt and berries for breakfast, so thought this might add variety.  Made 8 slices and I grilled one in a non stick pan. About 200 cals per slice.

I imagine that would have been quite satisfying Chookie.

I enjoy trying new breads Chookie, although I do have  my favourites that I return to all the time. Like your No Fuss recipe and the Classic Bread.

For lunch we had whiting dipped in egg then almond meal. Quite nice but I do love the crunch of Panko crumbs.

I like to cook my fish the way my Mum used to Chookie.  Dip in milk then lightly in flour before pan frying in a little bit of oil.

Going to Bikram yoga tonight so dinner will be something out of the slow cooker. I now do two nights and saturday arvo at Bikram which means 3 slow cooker dinners a week now :) I'm waiting for complains so I can suggest that they cook dinner on those nights. Silence so far.

I made a Sultana Cake from an old WW recipe book and a sausage casserole.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

That’s a big cake Margaret, I love sultana cake but no-one else in my family does.

You have to be organised to do what you’re doing 3 times a week Gayle, the meals must be good if there are no complaints.  Either that or they know what you’re going to say if they do complain LOL.

The sultana cake looks perfect Margaret.
Gayle I think everyone is wise enough to keep silent!  You obviously enjoy the yoga.
