I loved reading what Maddy had purchased. I miss her input here.

Yes , I also remember Maddie.   Hope she is doing well.
Yesterday I made Naan, posted.  Made 13 from the recipe.  Sent 1/2 home with my new cleaner.
We ate ours with Falafels and salad. I cooked them in a large frying pan although the recipe is for the oven.

I cooked a piece of silverside in the SC last night.  Up early this morning to make a potato bake before the kitchen gets too hot.  We will have thse for dinner tonight with some salad.

Mab, nothing like a nice piece of corned Silverside. Good value compared to Deli meats and so much nicer.
Thought I might Prawn Croquettes, recipe by RTE mother.
Made Apple Tart Cake, to use up some of the Apples.  Gave 3/4 away.

Silverside is a favourite here too. Mainly for sandwiches. No cooking here apart from dinner.

Made Spring rolls with leftover fried rice.  Added cabbage and bean shoots and rolled in spring roll wraps.
Made RTE mums Prawn croquettes, in fridge overnight to set up.  Will form into rolled tomorrow.

Stewed some pears and made banana yogurt muffins . Too hot to do this but new DD and DS will be super hungry over weekend . DH loves the pears on his cereal in the morning so much better than sliced tinned peaches .

RTE,mums Shrimp Croquettes.  Mine are not beautiful like hers but taste lovely. I made a double recipe.  Also made the mixture yesterday and let it set up in the fridge over night.

I'm slowly getting back into the kitchen, necessity rather than choice in this weather.  I have been cutting up tomatoes and oinions for chutney.  Not such a good crop of tomatoes this year but enough for a few jars.

Going to make 2 lots of Apple Tar Cake.  If I am heating up the oven, might as well bake a lot.

My SD is still rising. I think the air con is inhibiting it a bit but I don't care.
