Yes, I found mine when I was re-sorting my pantry Chookie.  Now that I can have a small amount of potato I might make myself some when I can find the low carb potatoes.  Has anyone ever tried it with sweet potato?

I tried a skinny portion of a sweet potato tonight to add to my plate of veggie au gratin and savoury mince but it didn’t turn out how I remembered the ordinary potato chip slices.  It was soft but dry so I just mixed it in with the mince and got away with it.  I didn’t spray the slices, should I have? It doesn’t tell you much in the book with it.

Judy, you have to experiment a bit with the timing.  I find4 minutes good for potatoes, although yesterday I used 2 different types and they cooked at slightly different times.  One 4 minutes and the other 3 1/2.  I also spray very lightly with olive oil and sprinkle very lightly with salt.
I haven’t had a lot of success with other veggies.  I will give the sweet potatoes another  go. It s possible that you have to give them 3 minutes, let them cool and then give them another 2 .  I think it is to do with the moisture and sugar content.  Sweet potato is very light on both.
Making Spring Rolls today.  Need to add more cabbage to the mixture.

I do remember that Chookie. I gave mine away  to a forum member.

Going to make some Anzac biscuits today.

I’ve made some of Chookie’s No Fuss Rolls and I’m having a go at a new SD loaf. It’s rising at the moment. https://www.sbs.com.au/food/recipes/seeded-wholemeal-sourdough-loaf
Everything seems to be going well so far.

Made Chookie’s macadamian Anzac biscuits! Super delicious. Reading about lots of people doing a anzac slice with caramel.

I tried to find a low fat recipe for Anzac biscuits but had no luck so forgot about that idea and made some mixed berry bliss balls instead along with a big pot of chicken soup using 3 BBQ chicken carcasses.  That made a pretty big space in one of the drawers of my freezer and the 5 flat packets of soup that went back in hardly took up any space.

Judy, you can replace the butter with Tahini paste in the Anzacs, but I think the main problem with them is the sugar.  Good work with carcasses.
I turned the leftover Chow Mein into Spring rolls which I baked rather than fried. ( sprayed lightly with oil)  I made another lot of Veggie ones for GD.
Have the Christmas Ham Hock in the SC overnight.  Will make Pea and Ham soup today.

That's a good idea to use up leftover chow mein.
Yum!! chocolate hazelnut cake.
I made a batch of no fuss dinner rolls for my neighbour. We were talking over the fence yesterday about the shortage of flour and he stated that there wouldn't be a woman in this street that bakes bread. So I was up for that challenge.
Tim Tam dampers in the pie maker - they look a bit rough but taste OK.

Thanks Chookie.

Today I made 3 apple and walnut cakes in the pie maker - my drizzling technique needs some work.

I made some apple and custard pies in the pie maker the other day. They were delicious.

The SD I made from the SBS site has a lovely flavour and it did everything it should have. Next time I will put it all into a larger bread tin. I cooked it in 2 loaf tins this time.
Today I am attempting to make Haloumi cheese. It is quite a long process but I certainly have the time.
