Chookies suprise biscuits, turned into jam drops or more acurately jam pancakes. Made them way too big. DS said they tasted good. Easy recipe and will try again. I should of realised when I only got 25 and Chookie got 36 biscuits.

Fruit buns, a Dani Valent recipe. They must be okay as DH has eaten 3 already. I need more practice at shaping bread.

Blue cheese and walnut shortbread. These are yummy and I'm really happy with the shape, they are pretty well a uniform size. This is a cookidoo recipe.

You’ve had a great baking day Michele, taste is more important than shape.

Mich you have certainly been busy. I’d love one of the jam drop ones right now.

Michele, I use a 4 cm ice cream scoop for  the surprise biscuits.
With the buns, if you stretch the dough over the top and pinch it under the buns, you can get a better shape or ask Cookie how hers always look so good.
Yesterday made Steak Paste from my Blog.  Nice with fresh bread and lettuce.  https://achookwoman.blogspot.com/search?q=Steak+paste (2nd recipe)
Ice cream, an Alice Roman recipe.  200 g , cream, 400 g plain yoghurt and a tablespoon honey. Whip cream, stir in yogurt and honey, freeze. Ral loves this.

I had some mashed potato left over and wanted to use it in some bread. I ended up making these rolls from farfallina. https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=5828.msg75315#msg75315
They have a lovely texture and the crust stays crunchy.

Cookie, you had me at 'crust' and 'crunchy'  ;D  I will check out that recipe, thanks  :D

McMich, great baking.  :D

Nice baking everyone.  I have only made a small potato bake in the AF today.

Tried 2 new versions of the Surprise Biscuits.  Made Chocolate ones which today will fill with Chocolate cream, and peanut butter ones.  The Peanut butter ones are interesting as they are not too sweet.  I think the Ginger ones are my favourite, Ral likes the Monte Carlos and Chocolate ones. I have added these to the instructions in my Blog.
Making some Vegetarian Samosas for GD.
Opened jar of Medlar jelly and it was a bit runny, so will reboill it and add some Jamseta.

I am trying a heavily seeded rye bread. So far so good.

Thought I would make RTE Churros. The taste was authentic and very easy to mix and cook, BUT I couldn’t get the paste to extrude through the star piping nozzle.  I made the recipe 4 times and still haven’t got it to work.  I added more water to make the dough soft by adding 75 mls extra.  I think the nozzle is the right size.
I made little donuts and Ral did the taste test.  He said they were good.  Next time shopping , I will check the nozzle size.

I was very pleased with the Danish Rye Bread. I had to make a couple of changes. I couldn’t get rye kernels so used steel cut oats, and I ran out of rye flour so put a little rustic flour in it. It’s a very heavy bread and higher in calories because of all the seeds. I will definitely be making it again. https://foodgeek.dk/en/danish-rye-bread-recipe/

Looks lovely, Cookie. You did well with the subs.
I think I have solved the problem with the extruding of the Churros dough. It is the shape of the nozzle.  Will try and buy correct one.
