Marina , my DM use to make Jerusalem artichoke soup and always put fresh ginger in to settle the stomach and no farting she would say . We called it fartachocke soup !! Also another way to cook it was use to slice it and add sliced water chestnuts too then sauté .

Unfortunately we grow lots of Jerusalem artichokes.  We give them to the Chooks.  They taste lovely but we don’t like the side effects.
I’ve been experimenting with the SS food warmers I bought from Alyce.  They are very good. Especially good for proofing bread in our cold winter climate.
Melbourne family came for lunch Sunday.  Wanted sausages and bread.! Think they are missing Bunnings.  Made long rolls from my light Brioche recipe perfect. ( we did have lots of salad also. )

It was clear out the crisper day so I made a pumpkin soup and added some odds and ends of other veggies, all that was left was a sweet potato and an onion. I found a sweet potato & chickpea soup in Quick Fix for the TMX so I went with that as I had everything else it needed.

That sounds just what we need for our sweet potato glut Judy. Is it nice?

Made a seed loaf today.
For lunch I removed the skin from 2 fat Italian sausages. Cut into small knobs and dry fried with mushrooms and red capsicum. Added a tin of tomatoes and a large spiralized zuchinni. RAL thought it was spaghetti.

Made corn fritters. Tried to make them without flour.  Fell to bits.

Thanks Judy. I will do it again now you have reminded me.
Chookie would the fritters stay together with some chia seed in water?

Rals Birthday tomorrow. Doesn’t want anything so will make him yo-yos.  He loved the ones that Mab made when we caught up a couple of years ago.
Also making curried lamb chops in the SC.
Making a SD loaf. Might add som spic and dried fruit to it. Good quality ones, to buy, are $8 and $12.

It's DS birthday tomorrow.  I am making him a fruit cake.  Fruit cake
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.
