Hey guys - I haven't converted it to TMX yet, but basically, whack it all in and whizz !! LOL

Home-Made TACO Seasoning
(packet taco seasoning is full of additives, preservatives and msg!)

Ingredients:
2 tsp ground chilli powder (more or less to taste)
1 tbsp ground cumin
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground oregano
1/2 tsp salt

Method:
Mix all ingredients together and store in a small, air tight jar. To use: 3 tablespoonfuls is the equivalent of 1 packet of commercial taco seasoning mix.

I was browsing Chelsea's blog this morning (love your blog Chelsea  :-*) and found her condensed tomato soup recipe & her porcupine meat balls so have made the soup ready to do the meatballs on the weekend.

I did what MJ did and used canned tomatoes and the other things she suggested.

Thanks JD.  :-* :-*  Did you use the red wine vinegar?  I was waiting to hear back from MJ before changing the vinegar in the recipe.

Today we had guests for dinner and I made margherita pizzas, chicken cacciatore risotto, a garden salad, 40 second icecream and homemade honey wafer ice cream cones.  I am hoping to get the recipe for the ice cream cones posted on my blog tonight.  They were heavenly!!! ;D

Yes but only 50g like MJ suggested.  It tasted really good to me.  I filled 2 jars, upended them until they cooled - can they be kept in the pantry until I want them or was I right in putting them in the fridge ? I usually freeze passata and this is very much like that.

Just checked the recipe out on your blog Chelsea - I can see a few of those cones being made by ice-cream lovers.

Thanks JD.  I will change the recipe to include MJ's suggestions.  I keep mine in the fridge.  I haven't tested them for long term storage as I always use them within a couple of weeks.  With the reduced vinegar content I don't think they would keep quite as long.

Thanks Nay-nay and Sonan for your Taco Seasoning recipes! We love taco's.

Today I made - porridge for breakfast, Cream of celery soup for lunch, Gingerbread (to keep the kids occupied as it's been raining) and Five Spice Pork with Rice and Vegetables (a varoma all-in-one dish, adapted from the intellisteam recipes - have posted the recipe).

Yesterday I made Trudy's Orange muffins as muffin tops. Photo later and today I am trying my first sourdough in the TMX.
