Hi everyone My name is Mandi (dede is the name a little boy named me 10 years ago as he couldn't say Mandi so it has stuck) I'm a married Mother of 5 and live in Tasmania. I work from home as a Picture Framer and have a Facebook page Mandi's Picture Framing

Lol creampuff. I use the same avatar on Facebook. I tell my kids that's me when I get older, grumpy with saggy boobs. With 5 kids I seem to get grumpy often as I'm always having to growl at least one of them every day ( hour) especially teenagers or those who are just about to become teenagers.

Today I wasn't going to make anything but I was bored (doesn't happen to often with 5 kids) and decided to whip a couple of thing up.
I made 2 batches of scrolls (1 pizza and the other Vegemite and cheese),
then I made a loaf of bread,
a Boston Bun,
Sticky Date pudding and
Family chowder.

Pretty good for someone not cooking today lol.

Well actually I believe we are all heading to the snow tomorrow so that's a great excuse not to cook. Maybe a nice TM Hot chocolate when we come back though.  ;D

Actually creampuff I live in Perth but in Tasmania. We don't get snow here but only have to travel about 30 minutes to get there. The kids are all excited as the 2 little ones have never been to the snow. Which is pretty sad considering we live so close to Ben Lomond where the snow is.

I hope you had fun at the snow Mandi and navigated Jacobs Ladder ok.  It still terrifies me! We haven't been to the snow this year, despite seeing it on the mountains around us for the last couple of weeks.  Perhaps next weekend.  :)

I've just done another batch of MJ's Tang Zong bread with my adaptions. For dinner we're having Jamie's cupboard soup with some cheese biscuits from Travelling with TMX.

We had a great day at the snow thanks Chelsea, Although DS 4 was not impressed when he sunk into the snow up to his knees. I laughed so much when I was trying to save him and I kept sinking in too, The more I laughed the grumpier he got at me. He was grumpy for the rest of the day until he needed a wee and realized that he could melt the snow.
Jacobs ladder was a bit muddy but DH 4x4 had no problems. I am very nervous going up and down Jacobs Ladder that's for sure (Its a long way down)
