It's from the Rainbow recipe book Marina - I've never made this type of thing before, we use ordinary milk so will let you know what it is like after lunch. Cannot post her recipes on here without her approval.

tomato soup. Based the recipe around the tomato soup  from UK thermomix - really delicious.
I agree Johnro. This is the best tomato soup recipe I have tasted. It was in the U.K. TM21 book when I first used it. I made it again yesterday along with cottage pies to freeze.

Thanks for getting back to me, JD.  I didn't realise it was in the Rainbow Recipes book - I have got that, so I should have thought to look in there, but it's good to get personal feedback (excuse the pun!).  Hope you dragged Geoff out of the shed eventually to enjoy his pud - I'm sure he didn't know what he was missing!

Made Coconut Black Eyed Soup for lunch today. It was really yummy. The recipe originally came from a head office customer newsletter so think I should be ok to post here. What do you think?

Yes Hally, they are vacuum packed in with the bowls as we speak.  This crockery is Royal Doulton, steelite (popular in restaurants) and so it will take all sorts of punishment. I find that a tasty little cottage pie is always a welcome choice for me.

thought I would have a crack at "Black Bottom White Chocolate Cheesecake" May 09 calendar for my DH 50th birthday today.
funny, had to steam it in the Varoma for 50-60 minutes and when I took it out it had fluffed up to the top of the tin, and I left it for 5 mins to cool and "pfoof" its sinking...will take a pic tonight when we cut it. Need to make some berry coulis to go with it.

Happy 50th to your DH CP - is that what the impending holiday is for, his birthday present perhaps?
