This morning I brewed my cavalla bru and drank it while listening to daughter's piano lesson....  :D
Now same daughter (9)  has whipped up filling for sausage rolls for lunch..  She adds whatever she likes the smell of in the herb jars..  Today it's fennel seed, cummin seed, marjoram, salt and pepper with fresh continental bread crumbs, mince (normally chicken but beef today) and an egg..  She's just making up the sausage rolls now.  Then she is going to make her favorite buttermilk scones with fresh whipped cream and (previously made) home made (thermie) marmalade and strawberry jam.. It's not even lunchtime here!!!

Good luck for the show nazar. I used to love cooking up for the local show when we lived in the country.

Judy the talc stone is mined up at Three Springs over here. (one of the places anyway). I taught there for 3 years. It has a lovely feel to it.

Smooth as a baby's bottom Cookie  ;)

Jaclom, it's great to see young kids taking on the Thermomix.  Tell her we think she is wonderful and please keep us informed as to what she is cooking.

Jaclom your daughter sounds great, would love to try the sausage rolls and the meringues.

I did no cooking yesterday, spent the day in bed sick (no not man flu); plus side was loosing 1.5kg

My cupboards were empty and all my containers bare. And "there is nothing to eat" so the kids said. So today I made 2 batches of biscuits, a cherry ripe slice, some vanilla slices, a choc cake split in half and iced with cream cheese frosting (Yum) and some whit choc chip and Raspberry cupcakes. Tomorrow I'm making some cheese and bacon rolls, pizza scrolls, sausage rolls and a egg and bacon pie.. Now if this doesn't keep the worms away then nothing will.

No she hasn't Bedlam. Poor thing is still in quiet a bit of pain. If she doesn't improve by Monday I'm taking her to the doctor to make sure all is ok. She has antibiotics, pain killers, garggle and nose drops. Her throat is still extremely sore. Don't like seeing her feel so bad.

Poor thing I am sorry to hear that, sounds like a good idea to take her back. Is she taking anti inflammatory meds at all? It isn't nice seeing your babies unwell. Give her lots of hugs and cuddles and get back to see the doc.
