That's not like you CP - glad you gave up though as continuing may have caused more disasters.

Perhaps you have invented a new slice.

all the jelly ended up under the baking paper, not one scrap where it should have been.

Can you do anything with it CP - Bron always used to say sweet disasters can be turned into ice-cream (and savoury into soup).

We had visitors for lunch today and all the bits I've been making came together and we had a lovely meal. Vegie and bacon soup with some soup mix thrown in, smallish seed rolls (Isi), quiche (Chookie) and salad, apple risotto(vegetarian cookbook) and caramel maple icecream (forum or calendar).
No dramas thanks to Termite.

Must have been Risotto day South of the River today Jean.  I made Chorizo & Capsicum Risotto and it was really nice.  Never made a Risotto before, and this was easy.  Brother In Law said it was a restaurant quality meal.  Feeling very chuffed.
Cheers, Nola.

I got back out in the kitchen tonight and made a batch of Marinara sauce to go with some baked zucchini sticks I'm having on Saturday then decided to finish off the Spanakopitas and freeze them to be baked from their frozen state.  Not one of my favourite jobs, making triangles with filo so I am pleased it is out of the way.

OMG,  Maddy both look great.  I've been thinking,  Geelong isn't all that far from Cherokee. Probably only 2 hours drive. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Today I set myself a challenge,  could I make 3 meals for the 2 of us from 500g. of Lamb mince.?
For lunch we had hamburgers on No Fuss flat rolls,   for dinner tonight Moroccan Lamb Meat balls.  Tomorrow, lamb,  rice and pinenuts wrapped in spinach.
