We returned the grandchildren to their mother last night and the house is suddenly quiet again.  Will boil some eggs to go with the left over meat loaf and make some salad.  Too hot and humid here to do much else.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Today I've made a Chicken pesto pizza using puff pastry and converted an Annette Sym recipe for a Mango passionfruit cheesecake.

Karen what a lovely looking cake. Congratulations.

Judy your cooking looks A1 too. Especially the cheesecake. How do you manage to eat it all? We still have leftovers from last Wednesday.

Today I've made my version of Masterchef sourdough but added seeds to it and Chookie's fruit loaf.

I have 2 diabetic neighbours Cookie, they will each be getting a piece and when DD drops of GS in the morning she can have some to take to work.  I will be putting some in front of DH too as it isn't too sweet and is the one of the ways I can get yoghurt into him.  Not a cheap cheesecake to make but I think it is worth it on the odd occasion.

GS's turn today for cooking lunch and baking something today.  Got him to make MJ's quick tuna bake as below and DG's Oat & Fruit Slice.

MJ's Pantry Tuna Dish.
1 x can tuna in spring water, drained, reserve juice
1 x  450g can corn
1 x 450g can spaghetti
500ml white sauce made in TMX, using reserved tuna liquid

Mix all together, top with cheese and breadcrumbs and bake for 20 minutes or so until bubbling. I also add lemon pepper and lemon juice for extra 'zing'."

He is a cutie  :) And I am sure he will remember cooking with his Grandma, a special time together.
