Kerry Beal, a TMX owner, currently blogging for the coming week on eGullet(post #9), posted this link to Pressure Cooked Citrus.

I thought some might find the idea of pressure cooked lemons interesting.

One of the comments on the Ideas In Food page contained a link to this site with what sounds like an excellent procedure and recipe.

Lemon Almond Pudding with puree from pressure cooked lemons.

Today I was making a loaf of bread as my freezer has no basic bread left.

Before I knew it........
Chookies No Fuss Bread
Lemon Delicious, Budget busters
Impossible Quiche, Devil of a Cookbook
Sausage rolls
Have minestrone soup started, its a WW recipe from one my new books, its quite a lengthy process, had to roast the ham hock, now its just finished simmering fro 2 hours, needs to cool then can start next step. Hoping it will be tonights dinner.

Golly Gosh H, you have been busy :o I was happy to just to have baked brownies and apple and sultana muffins! :-)) I haven't decorated them yet though.

Will also be making beetroot salad and coleslaw from EDC later to have with some pan-fried bronzy tonight.

Its 1.15 here too, so I think its a bit early for me to be making the salads for dinner. They might go yucky in the fridge :P

I'd make the beetroot one early to let the flavours fully develop Amy - it is always as nice the next day so I don't think you have to leave it until the last minute, although you can if you are running late.

Really? Awsome! Thanks for the tip JD! I'm actually going out this afternoon so its good to know I can get one of my salads ready and have it in the fridge for when I get home :D

Bronzy = Bronze Whaler Shark. It my favourite type of shark :D I like mine grilled personally, but the rest of the family like it panfried.

Its the one most commonly used in fish and chip shops.

Thanks ladies - I'm not very versed in seafood. So basically the fish you get in take aways is shark.
