maddy think of all the wine and quince & cheese crackers you will be able to enjoy! It will all be worth it. What recipe are you using - TMXR's or the one in DOC or another one?

.....and that's my motivation right there puffs! LOL.
I use Mr. T's recipe....always works.  I do a couple of things slightly differently, and I don't include the pips or black bits from the ends, in the pulp mix.

Made the roast apple & butternut soup today.  I now understand why everyone raves about it.  DH, who really does not like pumpkin soup kept asking for another taste test so it even got the thumbs up  from him. :)
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Hally and Maddy, Thank you for the inspiration, I was given one of those moulds many years ago (not pink though) and although I love the thought haven't used it yet. Well have a go at one of the lovely savouries.

Too windy to go fishing today and have just come back from The Biggest Morning Tea so tonight will be baf's chicken.

We were thrilled the morning tea raised $1000. There are supposed to be photos on facebook so I'll put up the link when they are there. A couple of hand mitts raised $40 and $60 each at an auction. Not bad for few people.

It certainly was a good effort Cookie - did you contribute to the morning tea with something made in the TMX?

Honey Snap Biscuits. Posted.  Would you believe I have had to convert them back to Non TMX and make them without TMX.  What a pain. :'(

There's an orange tree in the vacant block across the road where we keep my 11yo daughter's horse. Actually, there's two. I picked a few today with the idea of making a few cakes and possibly marmalade.

So this afternoon I made the Orange Cake from EDC. I really like this recipe. I've used it before and it always turns out great.

Oops! ETA: Forgot I have a Pizza Bianca and Pumpkin & Caramalised onion Pizza in the oven right now.  ;)
