Today I was making a loaf of bread as my freezer has no basic bread left.Before I knew it........Chookies No Fuss BreadLemon Delicious, Budget bustersImpossible Quiche, Devil of a CookbookSausage rollsHave minestrone soup started, its a WW recipe from one my new books, its quite a lengthy process, had to roast the ham hock, now its just finished simmering fro 2 hours, needs to cool then can start next step. Hoping it will be tonights dinner.H
Lovely cooking Amy, nice to see the photos Yes I think I just go into auto piot & things get done ???LOLits 1.15 here so am going to put the ham hocks in the fridge now to cool, so I can finish the soup off later.H
I'd make the beetroot one early to let the flavours fully develop Amy - it is always as nice the next day so I don't think you have to leave it until the last minute, although you can if you are running late.
