Stacelee that bread looks wonderful. Must look it up.

Maddy, your cookies look yum, must make cookies.

Lime curry paste from devil of a cookbook.  Sorting out old roasting dishes etc, its amazing how many you have at the back that you dont use or need.

Feeling a bit peckish so whipped up a thai noodle soup, Nigella recipe, easy & yum  :P

Made another batch of Panini rolls and a frittata for lunch using up all the bits and pieces in the fridge.  I had to cook a few potatoes but I had cooked sausages, caramelised onion, chicken & leek sauce from the freezer, a handful of grated mozzarella I forgot I had then just added a mixture eggs, cream, milk & parsley to finish it off.  Of course I now have leftovers from the leftovers for tomorrow  :-))  Also made another batch of yoghurt and Chookie's Queen of Puddings

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BEING COOKED IN THIS HOUSEHOLD TODAY - the desserts and sweets for the wedding are all done and dusted been delivered and I am shattered.  To cater for the 140 guests I followed a similar format to the wedding last year with - (for the candy bar)  - 8 batches of both cookies and cream fudge as well as choc fudge, 2 batches rara's cherry bites, 2 batches tim tam treats which I dipped in white choc. oreo pops, 2 batches of different types of rocky road.  The desserts were - double lots of 3 types cheesecakes which were made in rectangular baking trays, macadamia, raspberry blondies X 2 and sour cream and apple slice x 2.  I bow to your ongoing catering Uni!   :)  :)

I become really frustrated trying to work in and around all of the containers as I did all the sweets throughout the week so the dining table was nothing but plastic containers - all the sweets are going in glass bottles/brandy balloons  :)  :)

Well done Robyn!! I think you deserve a medal for all that effort ;)

I was going to make yoghurt, fruit bread, soup and roast lamb today. But then I got called in to cover for someone at work. So I still have time to do the roast for dinner, but everything else will have to wait until tomorrow :(

Robyn - I echo what the others have said - it was a massive effort on your behalf to make all those sweets. I hope your efforts are appreicated!!

Well yesterday I made Petits pots au chocolat (Little chocolate pots) from the UK thermomix site. It's a no bake recipe.

The mixture is quite runny once made but sets to become a very thick chocolate dish. It's nice but too thick. I find it tastes best after 3 hours in the fridge.

Here are two photos - before and after setting in the fridge:

Sorry Hally  no pics - bit like a assignment as each different batch was finished for me it was 1 closer to completing the task. Now to start marking yr 11 and 12 assessment as end of term mania sets in!   :(
