I just baked another batch of my bite-sized choc almond butter biscuits (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=10240.0) from the dough I had left in the fridge. The house smell really yummy now :D

I'll also be attempting some sort of adzuki bean pudding when the beans have finished soaking. Not sure how its going to go, but it will be a fun experiment :-))

So far I've made no fuss bread rolls and steamed some chicken to make chicken & corn chowder for dinner. Hope to make a batch of vegetarian sausage rolls to freeze for DD's slumber party on the weekend, but this cold is slowing me down, will see how I go.

I  may give the chocolate pie a go when I have guests. I have lost some of my taste for recipes that are too sweet so I am glad that this one is not too bad. Thanks for asking how I am Maddy. I have my last radiotherapy tomorrow. I then go on to a an infusion of drugs. (Why are the side effects of drugs always bad.) They never say your hair will get thicker, you will not get tired during the day, you will feel energetic etc.
I am feeling better by the week though. I am going to be on drugs for 5 years but then I get monitored which has to be good  too.

Glad to hear one lot of treatment is almost finished DD, hang in there - I hope you get your taste buds back once the radiotherapy is over.  :-* :-*

a tray for the teachers at school, a tray for the olds next door & a tray for the builders on the other side.

ricotta x2, 1st batch great, 2nd batch had to use lemon & vinegar, not so good a bit too runny.

Now preparing for the storm. got a safe place, the cupboard under the stairs, mobile charged, flasks of tea a & coffee & biscuits ready.

We will be fine because I prepared, fed the olds & we are all organised. Its sunny & calm atm, but they say its always quiet before a storm. We just dont want to loose our roof like some poor people have.

Halex I am ready for the big storm too, except instead of a flask of tea to go with the biscuits, I put a bottle of wine in the fridge to calm my nerves hopefully won't have to use it, winds have started to pick up in Mandurah  :)
