It was East meets West for tea here tonight - used my pie maker for chow mein pies. Surprisingly good too.
They look filled enough to me Deedub, to the top of the pastry. You don't want them sticking to the lid like the buns that I have just put in mine. I had to quickly transfer them to the oven so I hope they don't drop.
I've just made another batch of Tenina's garlic paste plus my thick broccoli cheese soup for tomorrow after Katie told me how much her and her DH really enjoy it.
Uni, what mixture did you use? My mum gave me a similar tin for my birthday quite a few years ago, and I've never used it as I wasn't sure how evenly it would cook, or how much mixture it would take. She keeps asking me if I've used it yet....
