Started a sourdough loaf made with 1/2 rye and carraway seeds.  It is so cold in the unheated  part of the house,  I didn't have to put it in the fridge over night.

:D, thank you Amy....I needn't have bothered though.....the family have decided they hate cream cheese icing and  scraped off the top into the chook feed  :-X
Honestly, all they want is that TM creamy vanilla frosting on EVERYTHING!

for the TM creamy vanilla one Robyn?...if yes, it's this one

It's beautiful, and silky smooth...not gritty like regular buttercream can be.  I often omit the vanilla and add other things in place for flavour, jam/juice etc.  It really is the only one I use now, and fantastic for piping!

P.S....the amount can be successfully doubled with no problems.  I just whip it for a little longer.

Made some individual apple crumbles in ramekins for either dessert or the freezer. Another batch of EDC lemonade. Will make some lemon muffins later.  :)

Maddy, I used that frosting recipe last weekend. It is time consuming but so worth the effort. Piped beautifully (I need more practice) and got better with age. Thanks DG x
