Your maple syrup onions look lovely Judy.

They are nice Cookie, now to find a recipe which will do them justice.

DD and I cooked Apple and Pear Chicken, cuscus and Garlic Eggplant. I got to dish up a meal for me before she took it to her friend's for dinner. I am now making her some vegetable stock using all the old looking vegies in her fridge

Those onions look great Judy.  Must do some with what I have left.
I have apple pie in oven at the moment and if I have time this afternoon I want to try Tenina's Caramelised  White Chocolate Bark from her newsletter.

I was thinking the same thing Cookie.  Could never imagine my Dad spending time in the kitchen with me.

Marie, that recipe of Tenina's is to die for.  I made a batch using Lindt white chocolate so it's good to hear you can succeed with a cheaper brand.  Mine lasted for ages in the fridge as I only ever had a piece as a special treat or offered it to visitors to try but if the grandkids had their way, it would have been gone in no time as they love pistachios. Never substitute the white chocolate for cooking chocolate though, Tenina knows only too well that doesn't work  ;)

I echo Judy. The caramelised white chocolate is really tasty. I ate way too much of it and haven't made it since for that reason.
This morning I've made DJ's Matilda cake and some more crio bru concentrate. Hopefully a few more things this afternoon.

Walnut, carrot and bran muffins (minus the bran) only cause I didn't have any.
And a Boston bun, DH will be happy as he loves them ;D

That bread looks great Karen  :)

We have visitors coming tonight, so I'm cooking focaccia, JD's slow cooked calamari, followed by veal scallopini and vegies with berry and vanilla pannacotta (from QFITT) for dessert.

LOL Amy!  It does look a bit like brain, doesn't it!

I have only ever eaten brain once, at a French restaurant when I was in my 20's and more adventurous than I am now  :P.  Let me assure you that this bread doesn't taste at all like brain  :)
