Sorry guys, can't deep fry anymore - I gave it up years ago and it is a very rare occasion that it happens here.  I do eat chips if they come with a meal whilst out and we have a very rare treat of fish and chips at the beach probably 3 times a year but I cannot bring myself to cook that way at home.  My chips are oven baked.

Raffles has been renovated, you wouldnt recognise it Gert.

Sounds like a good plan, but they live a long way from us.

I don't eat any of it Amy, and I always reduce butter and sugar when I can.

Salt & pepper squid for lunch.
I've got a chicken currently cooking in my pressure cooker and later I'm making some sort of pork curry for tomorrow nights dinner.

Yes Halex we live at opposites sides of the city. We moved from Hillary's to Mindarie 2 years ago and enjoying it very much.

Haven't been to Raffles for years so I am sure it will have changed a lot. We sometimes go to the Royal on the river at East Perth and sometimes up to the Swan Valley wineries. We have a micro brewery the 'Indi', same owners as Little Creatures, and another pub both on the marina 500 meters from our place so we sometimes just walk over for a meal or even just a glass of wine. Think Freo today or Leederville but not sure yet as DH is catching up on some paperwork in the office. Hopefully he will be home soon.

Hope you enjoy your day. I love Sundays.'

Mindarie is nice, we have been there a few times :)

We are going to Ramones at Willow Pond for lunch, its nice alfresco & the kids can explore a bit.

We go to The Royal quite a bit & The Swan Valley.

Have a nice lunch too.
