Hally my second lot were double thickness in my huge rectangle shaped slow cooker and they were done in 3 hours.  I gave them a stir halfway through.  Just keep an eye on them, you will know when they are ready.  Are you going to leave them on the bone or take the meat off for ease of eating?

Hally is the recipe just the drumsticks and hoisin sauce or is there more to it? they look great although I don't eat drumsticks so would have to use a different cut.

I think the recipe is just the sauce and drumsticks it was Judy's recipe she posted it somewhere, no doubt she will reply and be able to tell you. I don't like drumsticks either you could use something else.

Its the slow cooker recipe JD posted. It has a hoisin sauce recipe with it. I made up the hoisin & used it all & doubled the other ingredients for the sauce. It is going to be good for sure :)

I'll put the recipe in non-TMX recipes when I get Internet access back on my computer girls. Can't do it on the iPad.

Yes the changeover was supposed to happen on the 8th Katie and they still haven't got it right.  Sometimes it is OK and then it goes again.  I am seriously thinking of changing over to Telstra when I get back from the retreat and you know how much
I hate changes on my computer.
