This is my packed meal to go to hospital. The city hospital in Nottingham /UK have a special leisure centre specifically for Cancer patients. They have this class today with experts to show you how to look your best with/after Cancer. Various experts from well known companies supply all the makeup etc. How kind is that?

Have fun Dot  :)  they run the same program here too....which I did attend with trepidation, as I have always got "a face" on, and I really do not like anyone else doing it but me.
I can laugh now, but I came out looking like a drag queen  :o, and I scrubbed my face as soon as I got home....hopefully you have a better experience Dot  :)  You do get a goodies bag with lots of products, so that was nice....but I did piff the  fuschia lippy  ;).....does anyone really suit fuschia?

OMG Maddy, and to think that they asked me to be sure that I was going out tonight to flaunt my new look.  :oI always have "Tutty" on (same as face) I was thinking that perhaps my eye technique is stuck in the past a bit so at least I might learn what is the "Now" scene. before I peel off the layers.  ???

They do that here as well.  It was offered to me but I was unable to get there on the day.  I hear it can be a hoot as well as heart wrenching but a good thing to do.

Bimby chocolate cupcakes topped with the smooth vanilla frosting (with maddy's chocolate variation) and filled with peanut butter.

They look fantastic jakodai. The caddy and accessories you bought are certainly paying off.
What could be yummier than chocolate and peanut butter?

Have fun DD, you might learn new techniques and get a few laughs.

Jakodai, I could just go one of those cakes right now even though I have just eaten - you are doing well.

Have a great time Dot, could be lts of fun or a total disaster!

Jakodai, great work on the cupcakes, I made the same ones last night but didn't put the peanut butter in the middle. Just showed DS and DH and they turned their noses up at the filling - glad i didn't do that as a surprise in next weeks cakes!! Can I ask which number tip you used? I really like the effect.

Thought so. I think my mum enjoyed it, she has started wearing make-up since going to a class. She never did before, only lipstick on special occasions.
