I made some of Amy's mini quiches, delicious and some iced finger buns for afternoon tea except DS had to be picked up from school early because he is sick, when will it ever end........... :-))

We make our own dog food to Sue.  As you say, much better for the dogs than can food.
We have to make it every week, as we have a greyhound and a little jack russell/chihuahua cross.

Katie I too have a Greyhound, she is a fussy eater, I buy mince from Coles and mix it with leftovers and dry food.  She doesn't like dryfood when it is wet, sometimes I've cooked her some mince with noodles and veggies but she only likes one feed.  What recipe do you use.

AB our greyhound isn't fussy and would eat anything if she could, but she has a very sensitive tummy and we are careful with what she eats.

Our dog food is a mix of chicken and beef (which we mince using our KA and the mincer attachment), cooked with vegies and mixed with rice.  She also has dry dog food, and raw chicken necks for breakfast.

Thanks Katie, my Rosie doesn't like chicken necks,just sniffs at bones.   I might try her on some rice, she likes veggies I have a mincer so I could buy some cheap chicken.  The local chicken shop has pet mince but she won't eat it.  She eats the cats food but when I mix it in her dinner she isn't fussed only likes to pinch it from the cat..  When my son's dog (Jack Russell) is here she will eat his although it is the same as her's ..she doesn't like dry food on its own, I have tried all different brands.  Using Optimum at the moment.  She is really healthy and active so I presume she is getting enough.  She does love biscuits and follows my GS everywhere sneaking food off him, which he thinks is great he loves feeding her.

Katiej, we have a jack russell/chihuahua as well.  I also think she has some sausage dog in her as well ;D

I've found using maple syrup makes the icing too sweet. For 1 cake I use
80 grams cream cheese
30 grams butter
Juice half a smallish lemon
130 grams more if needed, icing sugar

Just bung it all in together speed 4 for 1 min 30 secs

Using lime juice instead of lemon is also good SJ ;)

Suzanne, yes from the forum, think its under carrot cake with nuts. Also in the amazing CP's book.
