I am going to try & make a gumbo or paealla with chicken & chorizio. Yum

Its going to be a long process, if too painful it will be soup. We need vegies after a lack of healthy food in Hawaii.

It took me 15 mins to peel an onion. Thank goodness I have thermie to chop ;D

I learnt a new trick on how to peel an onion the other day (everyone else has probably been doing it like it forever, but I think it is great...) Cut the unpeeled onion into 1/4s, and then the skin simply peels off soooooooooo easily and quickly.
Take care H.  :)

English muffins again! Used all white flour instead of whole meal and dough too sticky so they are more like rolls.

Great muffins Kimmy! :D

I have a huge pot of soup on the stove. At this stage there are only vegetables in it while I decide whether to add chicken or tinned salmon... :-))

Thanks, tastes great, a bit early for lunch, but as we were up at 3.30 I am hungry now.

The stock I used gives an awesome flavour, smoked bacon bone stock.

Mmmm love paella, we're having that tomorrow night.
Today I've made a loaf of the Hally/chookie no fuss bread :), some EDC mayonnaise for the first time, yum! Also a quiche, combining a couple of recipes - thought it would be a disaster but looks pretty good

And I've got some berry muffins in the oven now.
