Wow, that is very impressive ice cream. Do you have a machine chookie?

I've had to remix my evap milk ice cream in  *: to get better consistency, and i think I put to much vanilla in.

Not cooking today, out to lunch and if hungry tonight we'll have smoked salmon that arrived in the post as a present, yum.

Going to have lemon Belgium tart this week too, made with limes and served with cornish clotted cream that also arrived in the post  ;)

JoNZ I a sure there is a post by Chookie about part baking bread, good luck.

I've boiled potatoes, cooked eggs, made jellies, custard and goodness knows what for salad making tomorrow. Made some vanilla icecream and turned that into a choc orange icecream cake. Cooked heaps of sausage rolls for DD's to take to work, she did most of those.
All since 2 when our guests for morning tea left.  :) :)

I made julieo fruit mince tarts .. Lovely but as im not a lover of traditional mince tarts i prefer the fruity pear mince ones but these are still lovely.. Made 4 pizzas, prepped the fruit and ginger in alcohol for choc pudding tomorrow..
ThT was as far as i got after shopping this morning and picking up the ladt of the chrissy presents..

But so pleased i got to cook and dad loved them, especially the pizzas.. Said they are much better thsn anything bought .. So yes win!

Tomorrow is bishops bread, gingerbread cookies and the pudding and mango cream.. A cross of mousse and meringue yum

Oh and marinated some steaks for tomorrow night.. Just having a bbq..

Today I cooked  beef rendang and chicken tikka masala. Pilau rice, mango weis bars and Tenina's chocolate coconut tart.. Tart for Christmas day, weis bars for freezer and curries for tomorrow and  dinner tonight. Made 2kg of each curry as cooked for my DD and family and had DS and DiL here for dinner as well  as  4 young GK's.

Today I'm making a baby spinach, pumpkin and feta salad, beetroot salad, coleslaw and a christmas cake.

That ice cream looks lush.

I had a very special couple for dinner last night and made capsicum & sundried tomato dip from the EDC but used almonds instead of cashews and made garlic pita toasts

Marinated pepper bundles

Bruschetta

The main was chicken roulade stuffed with mushroom & leek with potato bake, beans and baby broccoli but I didn't get a photo.
dessert was supposed to be the figgy steamed puddings which I started on Saturday but the weather was too hot so I've cooked them and will reheat for Xmas lunch tomorrow
So I made individual trifles using the brandy custard I made for the fig puddings.

I also made the white chocolate & baileys Xmas fudge from here
http://www.superkitchenmachine.com/2012/18144/pistachio-fudge-recipe-thermomix.html
But I didn't have enough pistachios so I added some hazelnuts.
Very nice!
I do the best I can
