Made pea and ham soup out of ham bone.  Bread with stout and walnuts,  and about to make berry jam.
Thecooking here is inspirational.  Thanks for the photos.

Thanks Julie,  I would readily swap it for that beautiful lemon cake you made.     Interesting,  can't taste the stout.   Easy though,  just 1 rise.

Today we got out the Fowlers Vacola preserving kit and made a trip to the farmers markets.  Bottled up 10 bottles of cherries and 6 bottles of apricots.  Made 5 jars of apricot jam, and STILL have more apricots left to use up in the next few days  :P :P

Finally got back into some cooking today. Pancakes for breakfast, choc chip cookies, macaroni & cheese for tomorrow night's dinner & naan bread to go with the lamb rogan josh we had tonight.
Ta-da!

Used chookie's recipe & cooked them in the pizza maker, so easy! Had to pop some in the freezer quickly to stop the kids eating them!

You've been busy today Kimmy!

Karen, that is a lot of jam!

I only made EDC bolognaise today...I was hoping to make doughnuts today but I remembered an engagement only an hour before it started, so there went my cooking afternoon!
I have a Facebook page with all things cooking, you'll find it here: https://www.facebook.com/What-Amber-Ate-1097437023601587/
