I also would love to see your recipe for Mustard Fruits, andiesenji. I have made some for Xmas presents. The recipe came from The New Zealand Woman's Weekly. I chose it because it had both mustard and mustard seeds.
Steamed the christmas puddings - BUT forgot to put foil over the top first so they were soggy . Tried to dry them out in the oven but it was too late - ruined BUMMER!!!
I made corn bread out of the UK cookbook today and it didn't go down well with my eldest son. He has been trying to copy his Dad lately in complimenting my cooking and I could see he wasn't quite sure what to say today. His eventual response to the cornbread was "Good job making this yucky cornbread that falls apart Mummy". I had to have a giggle at his "compliment" and the sincerity on his little face.
I'll have to type it up in Word because I've never entered it into the computer. I have it on file cards with lots of notes and corrections as it has evolved somewhat over the years.I do use candied or glacé fruits so you have to do those first. Dried fruits are okay too, as long as they are fairly soft.
