Need to make some bread. So many recipes to choose from. Might make a Rye with Caraway for me and Cookies Vienna with added Oat bran for Ral.
Yesterday made Trudys Lemon muffins as a treat for the workers. Didn't have the TMX , but still good.
Also made Pumpkin soup, again without TMX. Really made me appreciate that machine as I stood for ages with the bamix mashing the veggies into the stock.

When pushed for time lately I bought a Bakers Delight Hi fibre loaf, $4.80.
This is my answer. Replaced 30 g of flour with Oat Bran in Cookies Vienna loaf.
Cost, $1.50.

It even looks better Chookie, not to mention the cost. I always bought Bakers' Delight bread before I made it. At least it doesn't taste like styrofoam.

That's a nice looking loaf of bread Chookie.  I was going to ask if you just substituted some oat bran for flour but you have answered my question :D
We have two Bakers Delight stores here, one was better than the other and now both are owned by the same person.  The bread is always gluggy and sticks to your teeth, I don't think they cook it long enough, not that I buy it very often these days.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Your bread looks perfect Chookie.
I made Chocolate Zucchini/banana muffins for the GK's. DD said she would freeze some for school lunches, but by the time we left to come home there was only 3 left out of a dozen. I guess I will be baking more goodies Monday & Tuesday for GK's lunches. DD doesn't bake unfortunately.

Kat, I'm sue the Gk enjoy your goodies in their lunches.
The Vienna loaf I made with the added Oat Bran was very nice but the texture was more open than the original recipe.

Yes, my DD appreciates my baking, as do the GK's. Even when the youngest (2  1/2) woke up grumpy from his nap and saw nanna's muffibs it put him in a better mood.

Nothing here yet, it's extremely humid after a tiny bit of rain.

I made some rolls for burgers tonight. I used Chookie's No Fuss recipe. It is such a lovely, versatile recipe.
