I'm still making an effort to clear the freezers by not cooking anything new except veggies to go with something out of the freezer each night.  Doing well but a long way to go - so far over the past week I've had mini quiches with salad, roasted pumpkin & sweetcorn soup, chicken & veggie patties with mashed potato followed by stewed quinces, 4 leftover party pies with potato gems, tuna mornay & veggies.  A long way to go yet before addressing the meat stocks and start cooking again. I have so many recipes I want to make from blogs I follow.

I tend to collect too many recipes too Judy. I put them into Snap and then every few months have a clean out of it.

I have some note books and I just keep a list of the name of a recipe, the blog and how many calories if they show it cookie. Then it will be an easy task to find the recipe which disappears from my FB feed long before I get around to cooking it.

Shrimps in garlic butter sauce.
One of our favourites. Often serve over mushroom risotto.

Cooked a chocolate self saucing Pud, made with double the sauce. It was a TMX recipe which was complicated. I simplified  the method and it was great.

That sounds delicious Roadpacer as does your chocolate pudding Chookie.
I made some more stock concentrate as I seem to go through it very quickly this weather.

I like the sound of the shrips in garlic butter sauce  :P :P

Chocolate brownies yesterday as a treat for GD who had been to give a blood donation.  Just her second time, the first time she almost fainted but she was ok this time.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Mab, GD certainly deserves to be spoilt. Good granny.
Bread of some sort. I've got a double pipe loaf tin so might try this. Friend found it in an op shop.
Pork cutlets with cauliflower fritters. Will grate the cauliflower in TMX.

Good on  her Margaret.
I'm having a bread day. I have a SD loaf rising, then a rye loaf and then Chookie's loaf with chia and oatbran into a cool oven. Hopefully some jam as well. I hope to get a fruit SD going to put in the fridge overnight.

I managed to get everything done except my Chookie bread. Hopefully tomorrow.
I'm running DH to the station mid morning as one of his car club/shed friend died and the funeral is tomorrow. I'm driving up to one at Toodyay on Saturday. The lady who died lived on the farm next to us with her husband and children. Her son is having the funeral at his place in Toodyay. Mr Google said it will take me about 1 1/2 hours to get there. Her other son is still on the farm. I was hoping my brother would come up with me but he is busy.

Cookie, that is a long drive on your own.
Have some chicken thigh fillets, so might make Japanese skewers.
