Well I did say I wasn’t going to be doing any cooking seeing as I have 2 drawers of frozen ready meals but I want more variety so I’ve made a tuna mornay and a zucchini slice today and a sausage curry yesterday, have to fill that empty bottom drawer.

Lots of delicious looking and sounding food there. I made my overnight Rye SD bread and some Mandarin Polenta Biscuits.

Nice variety there Judy.  Sometimes it's good to have a cook up, it's quite satisfying knowing you have supplies in the freezer.  :D

I like the sound of your biscuits Cookie, have put them on my list.  Haven't made biccies for ages.  :D

Thanks Chookie & Julie - unfortunately the zucchini slice was too difficult for me to eat,

Oh Judy!!! Will you give it to the family? Or save it for later?
I have my usual breads rising, waiting to be cooked.

Not sure yet what to do with it and all the raw meat in the freezer cookie, the kids may as well have it.  This weekend I’m taking 2 of the ladies who transported me to my daily radiation treatment down to my DD’s holiday house down south for a week as a thank you for being there for me. DD is giving me the best rates - no charge as she also appreciates what these ladies have done for me.  I plan to take them out for meals every day and do all the touristy things - I’m not driving, one of the ladies will do that.  Eating out is going to be difficult for me but I’ll work around it somehow.  Going shopping tomorrow to buy some basic items to start off with but I can buy whatever the ladies feel like down there.  Eating one meal a day out will mean they will only want to graze at night, both are very small eaters. I’ll virtually be taking my evening meals from home as there will be nothing on the grazing platters suitable for me.  It is going to be hot on Saturday when we go down there but after that it becomes cooler, we’re all so looking forward to it. I haven’t been anywhere since our Melbourne Forumfest, whenever that was.

Judy, enjoy your break away.   Soup is often on the menu , can have have that.  ?    Several of our local Restruant will cook something for you if you ask.
Yesterday I started making individual Xmas puds. I steamed them for 25 minutes in Varoma and reheated 2 , out of dishes , for 1 1/2 minutes. Made TMX custard.

Thanks everyone. Yes soup is my favourite food now Chookie.  I’ve checked out the menu of a couple of places I’d like to take the girls when away and if I have a chat with the chef I’m sure they can adapt those meals to my requirements.

Judy that will be wonderful for all 3 of you. Have fun. I do like the cheap rate. 😀😀
Yummy looking Christmas puddings Chookie. I did that one year and then we had one every now and than with custard. We don’t have Christmas pudding at Christmas. Dad decreed it when I was but a mere lump, about 1948. 😀😀😀😀😀

Enjoy your break Judy ... can you handle a very light risotto, perhaps?

The Xmas puddings look great, Chookie.
