I have made 'No fuss" rolls, with egg wash.
Leek and potato soup.  This was made from 3/4 of a leek,  mashed potato left over from yesterdays lunch,  and Duck stock made from the Duck bones from yesterdays lunch.  Also added 2 small onions and 3 cloves of garlic.  Delicious.
Making Turkish Pide at the moment..

Never thought of slashing those 'no fuss' rolls Chookie - they look great.  Cheap soup too, gotta love that.

Judy,  they really pop up when you slash them. ;D  Love cheap meals,  eggs and rolls for tea.  One chook has started to lay,  after I gave them a talking to.  Got to save for the next trip ;D ;D

So whats your secret words of wisdom to make them chooks lay? I have 5 chooks and getting 3 eggs in 2 days (1 and 2), I think its just too cold for them. Maybe a electric blanket might help :-\

I made some jaffa cupshakes for my girl to take to a party.
Unfortunately I used a different ganache method, so the chocolate wasn't set in time.  Oh well, there will be plenty of kids passing through to eat them up.

I used Louisa's whole orange cake, topped with chocolate ganache, and used the thermomix buttercream.

Golly, you girls make me laugh.   you could tell your chooks that you are thinking of making chicken soup!!! Or you could  place an axe near the chook house door.  Really I think it is the cold weather, although if I were a chook I would like to sit in a nice warm nest.
Faffa,  might take you up on that.
Maddy, taking orders ?  What beautiful cup cakes.
