Fairy Wrens are a tiny native bird. Their body is about the size of a ping pong ball. ( not much meat there Judy) The girls are brown and the boys turn bright blue in the Spring. Their little legs are like tooth picks and they have a little tail that sticks up. We feed them just outside our back door, on a table. They really enjoy bread crumbs during the winter. Big birds will kill them, so they like the protection of bushes. The only time DH uses the TMX is to make their bread crumbs.
