I've had some Cottage Roll mixture in the freezer for ages and had to use it up.  No pastry to make rolls, though, so stirred some Worcestershire Sauce through it and heated it up with potatoes and veges.  The sauce gave it a whole new dimension - I used just enough to taste it so it wasn't overpowering at all.

Maddy they look fantastic. I know you have given the details for the frosting before but can you let me know which one you use and if it's a Wilton no1 tip for the icing? Thanks.

Lovely maddy - how long did you cook the cupcakes ?

24 mins., 160c.  (average sized cupcakes).  Halving the mix made 13 cupcakes.
I just spoon mixed the choc chips in.

Maddy they look fantastic. I know you have given the details for the frosting before but can you let me know which one you use and if it's a Wilton no1 tip for the icing? Thanks.

Well I made a chocolate version of the vanilla frosting......and added 3 generous Tbsps. Dutch cocoa, I thought I should add a little milk.... :-))....I slipped and put too much milk in, so it was quite soft.  So I shoved it in the fridge to firm up for a couple of hours.  It did taste like chocolate mousse though  :P
I won't post it yet until I am happy with it  :)

Wilton 1M tip used.  Hold vertically, and swirl starting from the outside.

No cooking for me today but I did make this. My very first attempt at framing a football Guernsey and I am really happy with the finished result.
Oh and my DD (11) is cooking tea tonight. She is making Spaghetti bolognaise, she has also made some jelly and ice cream for dessert. Shes a good girl.
