I really think his cooking is fascinating. The wonder of it is nothing is as it seems. I think it would be best experienced as a once off in his dining room and not the kitchen like Katya. The Medieval show was amazing. I am sure his restaurant is outrageously expensive but what a treat if someone else is footing the bill. Any offers?

Heston was the reason my very overly logical teenage son took on cooking with such fervour last year... he loves how he destructs each recipe!!  :-))

Just as well we all have our own thermomixes to know what goes into them! :D 

I've loved reading everyones comments.

The former vegetarian in me does feel decidedly queasy as I watch Heston and his exploits.  Thursday night was a big night of TV for inducing queasiness- starting with a stuffing made on Italian Food Safari which included unborn eggs.   Not sure why I should feel queasy if I am going to eat flesh and it is edible.

That was the Pudda a Taccula I though it was to  die for and I could almost smell it. LOL! Eventually the unborn eggs did get cooked. Nothing like that in Cairns.

I'm with you containergirl!  I just can't watch those bits... but watching it on the SBS Television site means I can fast forward through those bits without seeing them...  ;)

Lots of people (?Jews included) treasure the "unborn" eggs.  They are just yolks without much white and no shell.
