Saying Hi!! Just bought a thermomix!!

Hi there

I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. My husband and I have 3 kids and I have been wanting a thermomix for such a long time!!! 

It has just taken me 4 months to accept the price tag and was ready to order one, but was on Ebay on friday night and was looking at a few different things and found a thermomix for $1000 so bought it lol!!!

I am really looking forward to changing our diet and being able to make things from scratch!!!

Yes I am so so happy with the bargain!!! My husband was going to buy me one for maothers day but we were just to busy to organise it. I nearly fell off my chair when I saw it come up!! I clicked buy it now straight away lol!!!

I cant wait to use it!!! :)

Welcome to the forum kye33.  Sounds like you were in the right place at the right time with that bargain.  Hope to hear back from you when you start using it. In the meantime check out our recipes here, this is a great source of information.

Well done on snapping up that bargain!  I saw that on ebay and was suprised at the low price given that they usually sell quite well.  Enjoy your new machine and the inspiration from the forum!

Are they sending you some books with the machine Kye33?  You get one free book when you buy which is called Everyday Cooking but they may have bought some of the others too.  Have you been to a demo or know others who have one who can give you some idea of how to use it?

Yeah there are a few books coming too!! I have been to one demo in Cairns a while ago, its what got me wanting one lol!!!  There is a class this weekend at the sunshine coast so was thinking of going to it!!! Have also been on youtube looking at the different videos on there!!
