Hello from Sydney
« on: June 07, 2010, 02:10:01 am »
Got a present of a TM yesterday!! How exciting!  The book it came with is great, but there is not enough there.  Happy to see a forum where we can learn and share together!
Happy Cooking.

Welcome caquince. the TMX will probably definitely  turn out to be the best gift you have ever received. Was it a gift for a special occasion or just because you deserve it?  ;D ;D

Welcome! Who was this wonderful benefactor who gave you a TMX as a present?
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Who says in-laws are good for nothing?! LOL.  My mother and father-in-law bought it for me - for pretty much no reason other than they thought that I would like one and use one.  They were right.  Getting more and more confident with it every day thanks to you all!!  Hope to actually be on the giving end of the advice someday when I know what I am doing.
