Sometimes I feel a litle bit sad because my english isn´t very good!
I would like to explain better what I feel when I read all this nice Messges to my recipes.
Hope you dont think I am not Polite.
You are all so sympathic to me and I thank all very much and I am also very happy and proud for all the pictures and good results!

Lovely to see you back posting isi.  Don't fret about your English, I remember when you first joined and your English writing skills started to go ahead in leaps and bounds in no time.  Although you haven't posted for a while, as you can see all the new members have great respect for you and your recipes as do us older ones. Isi it is wonderful to hear from you. I made some of your rolls today when we had visitors and they all loved them and asked where I had found the recipe. I told them it was Isi's recipe.

isi dont be silly..your english is fantastic especially for europe..ive been in france for over 10 years now and only know a handful of people who speak a decent level of english which is always a plus to speak any additional language..you should be proud of the fact that you can even communicate on an foreign forum!!  I have quite a few friends who Id love to introduce the forum to but there is no point as they dont read or speak english !

everyone could also be better in any language..i know i could be better in french too..have to look at the positives!

by the way love your portuguese bread that i  make into a loaf..we all enjoy it here and thats saying something coming from the land of bread, cheese and wine!

self raising doesnt exist in europe so plain  :)

just checked the ingredients again and yes plain as she puts fresh yeast in...most people in europe add yeast or a raising agent to plain flour when cooking whether it be a cake, pastry or other.

I made these this morning for breakfast whilst the kids are still on holidays. They went down a treat. Even some left over for DH for smoko tomorrow. We had them with some blueberries that had been cooked with honey (similar to Nigella's blueberry pancake syrup). Thanks Isi.  Love your recipes. They'll be on our menu next time we have friends over for breakfast.

Made these today and they are great.
Croissants are one thing DGS is willing to eat, and he gobbled one down and gave it thumbs up.
So I can send him off to school with them and be pretty sure he will eat his lunch.
DH went back for a second one.

isi, your explanation and photo was excellent! Wish I'd made these ones instead of the ones I just battled with! Much quicker and easier.
Thank you, I may even try to make them again once I get over the stress of the ones I've just made.

They're proving right now. I may change my mind about them when I eat them!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

I made these this morning. I don't know what I did wrong but my dough was not sticky at all!

And then as I started rolling out circles, I couldn't figure out why my circles were so small until I realised... I made 8 balls instead of 7!!
So I ended up with realllly small croissants. I think they tasted wonderful though! DH said they didn't look like croissants >:( but tasted like them :P

Thanks for the recipe. Will definitely make them again.

Thanks for bumping this recipe and reviewing it. I have been meaning to make them for ages. My to make list is enormous. They really do sound easy to do and lovely to eat.
