Just made the sauce and it smells Devine. Waiting for the dough to rise to make the scrolls. Will spread the sauce, sprinkle with Italian herbs and cheese and roll up the dough.

I love that idea. We had sauce left after using it for pizza. Scrolls would be prefect.

Used this sauce again but I've taken to doubling at least the garlic..my only cooking allowed is pizzas once a week oh and when we have guests lol..

Anyway made this sauce earlier in the day and just sat glad wrap on the top touching the sauce so it wouldn't form a hard skin .. Put this on a pizza base with  some par cooked chicken pieces, mushrooms, feta, cooked onion, some finely cubed capsicum (pepper/poivron) then sprinkled some Parmesan and a bit of mozzarella cooked for 20 mins at 220.. Served with roasted pine nuts and baby spinach.. Was delish!!

Also tried a garlic bread with this sauce and a bit of cheese but needs alot more garlic so will add a little more salt maybe quadruple the garlic and should be yummy.. Maybe add some finely chopped parsley.. !!

I haven't made this since I tried and posted the recipe but these days I would substitute the garlic with Tenina's garlic paste Kim, that would give it a greater garlic hit.

I'm going to have to make that again.. Haven't made it in ages as don't remember liking it. Will have to give it another go .. Your recipe was extra nice with the saltiness of the feta added to the pizza.. Yum !!

Made this again but tried using a whole head of garlic this time.... Loved it..

I always cook it in advance put some plastic wrap on top touching it and let it cool then paste it on bases with a spoon when ready to use

This was delicious. I took note of Judy's suggestion and used about 3 teaspoons of garlic paste instead of the cloves.
It worked particularly as the base for the garlic prawn pizza and also the 5 cheeses pizza.
