Thanks Chookie, knew we could count on you to put your thinking cap on.  Shazzy has asked a couple of questions so perhaps if you address her questions first. 
1)  How to par cook a loaf or rolls and finish the cooking later
2)  Making the dough, refrigerating it and cooking later

If anyone else has a question for you, you can add that to your original thread which we can sticky for you so that it is always at the top of the bread section.

I love this recipe and use it for all sorts of things. This is the latest, made yestereday for soup.

I don't know Chookie it just goes like that.
I weigh my total dough quantity and divide it by 4. Then weigh out the 4 pieces of dough. Roll them into a ball and rest them. Then roll them out like a sausage and if they get hard to roll I rest them for a bit and then weave them into the loaf. I try to make each 'sausage' about the same length.

bread making lessons for DD 22 start tomorrow, i will be mixing by hand which i have never done b4

How did you enjoy doing it by hand Uni - our TMX's would spoil us wouldn't they  ;)

Uni, these look pretty good,  but if you want any help,  I have posted on my Blog,  No Fuss and Hot X bun recipes for making by hand.  Like you I did a dry run before I took a class for people without TMX.
