Almond Soup (with photo)

Almond Soup:

Ingredients:

100g blanched almonds
200g yogurt (Turkish/Greek kind)
60g flour
1 egg
30g Thermomix vegetable or meat stock
1000g water
20g butter or margarine

To decorate : some extra blanched & unblanched almonds


Preparation:

    * Pulverize 100g blanched almonds for 20 seconds on Speed 10
    * Add yogurt, flour, egg and Thermomix stock. Blend for 1 minute on Speed 4-5
    * Add water and cook for 10 minutes at 100°C on Speed 3-4
    * Add butter and cook for 5 more minutes at 100°C on Speed 3-4
    * Blend for 30 seconds on Speed 8-9. Serve into the bowls. Decorate with blanched & unblanched almonds

Thanks farfallina.  The Spanish have a similar recipe, but with garlic !! Yum

I had never tried it before
I really liked it. It is very creamy and delicate
I like having soups before the main dish
They enrichen your table, fill you and make you eat less and healthier ;)

Like Judy, I haven't heard of this sort of soup before.

you are probably right. knowing you are really petite i may have to give this a go and see if just doing this will make a few kilograms drop off  :-\
