After a dose of the lurgy, I finally felt like cooking tonight. Marmee's chicken cacciatore risotto was certainly a hit with the family and ring-in....

Yes, DH even snuck the last little bit when I was looking the other way. It's oddly satisfying to cook a meal that everyone enjoys.

We had fish from Monkey Mia that we froze. Oven chips and I did a stir fry of carrot and zucchini sliced really thin with the peeler.

We had wraps with leftover Moroccan lamb, tzatziki, rocket, tomatoes, avocado and feta.
Lamb was from Harrison's restaurant that we couldn't finish. We had a kilo of 14 hour slow cooked lamb to share and couldn't finish it. They very kindly presented us with the leftovers when we paid the bill. Fabulous restaurant and a well deserved 1 hat for food, service and ambiance.

How did the family like this Kimmy? It sounds lovely.
How would you rate the book? (not that I need any more cookbooks)
