Cookie,  the TMX is amazing at dealing with sad veggies. I add them to soups and make all sorts of mashes.

Tonight is a Cheese Pie, basically a quiche with only cheese in. It has a mustard pastry.https://tenina.com/recipes/cheese-pie

Cookie,  that does look nice.   I’d like a slice out of the centre.
K Atie, calamari risotto sounds good.

We had cold roast beef, potato salad and a mixed salad. I had fresh strawberries for dessert. Too hot to have the oven on in the kitchen.

CC, nice hot weather food.
Italian Fish stew here.  It has small chat potatoes in it. I bought 1/2 k of marinara mix, salmon and will add a tin of tiny clams. Eat it with crusty bread. Might add extra prawns and then it will do 2 meals. Will never ever buy seafood from Asia after seeing the fish farms there.

I never buy fish from Asia Chookie. I saw a program that really put me off. I do my utmost to buy Australian only.

It looks lovely Chookie.
We had a seafood risotto, based on Maddy’s risotto.

It made a lot so I may try Arancini tomorrow and cook them in the AF.

Probably very little for dinner tonight as visitors for lunch.  Lamb shanks roasted  in oven for 3 hour in an Italian tomato sauce. Mashed pot and spinach. Also Apple, cranberry slice.
