Thanks girls.  I must admit I don't use my varoma as much as I could so plan on making quite a few of the simple recipes from the book to get me on track.

Tonight, DH will have another serve of the roast etc and I'm having a Michelle B meal from the freezer 'mild chicken curry' that I made a few weeks ago.  I think it's from her low carb book.  :)

We are having a prawn, chorizo and rice dish.

Here is the link for the dinner we had last night. It was very tasty. I used one chorizo in it, not the sausages. I cooked up the chorizo first to get rid of a lot of the fat.

Tonight we are having Stromboli. I use Jamberie’s pizza dough from here, passata that I have made and put whatever is available into it.

Today is DH's heavily restricted diet day prior to his colonoscopy in two day's time so he made a pot of chicken soup and added some potatoes - that will be his food for the day.  First time meat has been cooked in our house for years!  The worst is that I have to go to the supermarket to get white bread for him - the candy floss of the bread world, we are just not used to eating this stuff any more!

We are quite used to all of this as both of us have to have colonoscopies every 3 - 5 years so I will have to book mine in soon ... no fun, but way better than the alternative!

Cuilidh, your DH has my sympathy but as you say it is better than the alternative.  I also have to have them every 5 years.

We are having roast lamb tonight with the usual roast veg, cauli and sprouts.

The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Not fun, but I agree totally re the alternative. Some years I am permitted to go 5 more until the next one, some years he says 3 years. I am on a 5 year between visits, gosh the 5 years go fast.
I found that I  enjoyed boiled egg, boiled chicken breast and rice. I totally agree re the bread being yukky Marina.

DH is having freezer leftovers and DD and I are having a very light dinner.

Last night a varoma dinner. I placed fresh salmon over boccolii in Pyrex dish with Asian type sauce, and seamed in Varoma. Served with extra stir fried veggies.

Lemon Rosemary chicken with rice off Cookidoo, American recipe really tasty and easy , next time I would add vegetables in the last cooking step . Yet again lots of sauce to use another time . So easy I went and did a yoga zoom class while it was cooking .
