Sometimes we get carried away in the kitchen and halfway through wish we’d never started LOL.
Plenty of meals for you in the freezer now and you will appreciate your efforts each time you take out a quick meal Julie.
I’ve never liked plain Mac and cheese but add some veggies to it and yes, it’s lovely. Your topping sounds very tasty.

It was certainly one of those days for me Judy, just wasn't in the mood. I'm the same with mac & cheese, too high calorie for me with no wow factor but DH enjoys it so I do try other additions to give more flavour.  :)

I agree wholeheartedly, plain Mac and cheese is pretty tasteless.  We were once served it up when we were invited to lunch, not something I would ever give visitors. The soup beforehand was very nice though.

Very small toasted chicken sandwich.
I agree about the Mac n cheese.  Judy, soup is usually very good food value.

I love mac and cheese, but whenever I make it there is always way more vegetables than mac in it.

I'm not a big fan of mac and cheese.

Left overs from the party for dinner tonight.

I made a large mince and macaroni dish last night. We had it for dinner and we brought the leftovers for dinner tonight.

A few of the dinners I have cooked recently.
Chicken Veloute with steamed new potatoes and sprouts.
Beef Stirfry with peppers and sugar snap peas with egg noodles.
Indian Spiced Butternut Squash and Chickpea curry with steamed basmati rice. ( Cookidoo recipe site)
Hungarian Goulash is on the menu tonight with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. Dived into Fast and Easy Thermomix cookbook for this old recipe. 😁

You've been busy ... and adventurous, CC.  Those meals sound appetising.

Our usual caravan food. Pork chops, round chipped potatoes cooked on the grill next to them and salad.

Osso Bucco with a Pepper sauce a Cookidoo uk or us recipe callled pepperberry . 11/2 hours cooking . Really nice with a baked potato and greens . Added a bit more liquid and less time at the end when adding in cornflour .

The operators of the caravan park do fish and chips. They catch the fish locally, so we had fish and chips from them. The fish was Hapuka and was very nice.  It is a deep sea fish and I’d never heard of it before.
