We are having salmon in miso and DH, who doesn’t like salmon is having chicken.

I had minestrone soup.  After eating out yesterday I ordered the soup and a veggie pasta dish to take home. 2 meals from the soup and 4 from the pasta dish. The soup was tasty but the red kidney beans spoilt it for me as they were too hard.

I could Chookie but I’m sick of pureed soups unless it’s pumpkin soup.  Trying to eat food with bits and pieces in it and it wasn’t difficult to leave the kidney beans behind when eating, I use cannelloni beans when I make it and I must say mine tastes pretty much like the restaurant one.

I've taken a casserole out of the freezer and it will become a pie for dinner tonight.

Judy, you could try mashing the beans up first or zapping them in the TMX, but if it is their skins that are the problem, that may not help.

Found some swede at the market this morning, so I have got a pot of Scotch Broth brewing on the stove for tonight.

Lovely meals ladies.  I had a fairly big lunch (for me anyway) so it will just be a poached egg tonight.
