I made some Pesto yesterday using cashews. Tonight we are having chicken, pasta and some of the pesto. Some friends brought us some snow peas so I will put a heap of those in too.

Crumbed chicken with roast potato beans & carrots.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Last night I cooked a Chook in new steam combi oven. Set it on automatic with veggies underneath. Went outside for and hour and returned , dinner cooked. Gave it a couple of extra bursts for extra browning. Tonight, leftover chicken and salad from the garden.

Chookie, did your Daughter-in-Law get you one of the free Celebrate cookbooks from VZUG?  If you would like one just send me your address and I will fill in the form or ask her.  I checked and they are more than happy for other brand users to have them!

Trudy, I checked with Wendy, DIL and she has ordered cooking book for both herself and me.  Thanks for the thought.  I’m going to need all the help I can get.
I’m adapting my favourite recipes that are on my blog and will add Combi steam oven instructions.
The bread sticks and small rolls that I made using Miele Baguette set program were terrific. I don’t think I could improve on this. However my recipe was quite different.
Thanks again.

For lunch yesterday we had leftover fried rice and Jamie Oliver Fish fingers. Good proportion of fish to crumbs.
Last night we had chicken in a creamy sauce made with smashed Avo, mayo and light sour cream and chives. Mixed with  crisped diced bacon On a flat bread roll with salad. The chicken recipe was my favourite sandwich recipe from the Hopeturn Tea Room in Melbourne.
