Dinner tonight - roast beef (going to try in in varoma, fingers crossed it works) with steamed potatoes then fried in meat juices (from searing beef), steamed brocolli (Miss 5.5's request - or make that ORDER!!  ) steamed and fryed sweet potato chunks, steamed beans and curried corn and carrot dish...yum!! Served with gravy and fresh buns.

There is also a stainless steel container to keep in the fridge which hold about a litre of milk but it can suck up out or the bottle just as easily. Not a pretty but it saves washing.

The machine is fully automatic made in Switzerland. The coffee produced is very hot compared to some commercial machines.

Roast lamb tonight, with baked veggies I think.

Ohhh Gert......so that's frothed milk in the container and not curdled milk....I nearly fainted 


lamb & gravy rolls....have to go out after school, so that's nice and easy.
  Have a leg of lamb that's too big even for my huge slow cooker....so will  poke it with rosemary and garlic, and shove in an oven bag....if it fits.  We breed big lambs here

Mcmuch that is why I gave my delongi away too. The Jura makes coffee very hot.

Maddy  the milk in the container is from a local dairy and is very high in  fat so that it looks curdled around the handle. That is actually the cream.

I normally do not drink milk but if the coffee is strong enough I can tolerate it. Anyway I just like to make one sometimes for fun.

I'm not sure I should be 'fessing' up to this, but tonight I tried Marion's thai green curry packet where I just added chicken and snow peas, broccoli etc. and I have to say it was quite lovely   Had to have something quick and it sure fits the bill.
